I am committed to safeguarding your privacy and work in accordance with the current Data Protection Act (GDPR, 2018). This Privacy Policy refers to your use of this website and any subsequent enquiries you make regarding the counselling service I provide. Should you decide to take up my services then I will issue you with a new Privacy Policy relating to Psychotherapeutic Counselling.

This website uses Cookies, however I do not collect any information that personally identifies a user when they visit this website. The site is hosted on the platform and your data from Cookies may be stored through’s data storage, databases and the general applications. However, the information collected by through the Cookies is not usually personally identifiable Any data they store is on secure servers behind a firewall. Enquiries you make to me.

My email account uses the secure GSuite server and is double password protected. Only I have access to my email account. The phones and laptop I use to respond to your emails, calls and texts are password protected.

I perform a twice-yearly review of all my email, phone and text correspondence (in July and January) and delete all unnecessary contact details. Should you take up my counselling service your information will be held for longer, this is outlined in my Privacy Policy relating to Psychotherapeutic Counselling.

I will only use your email address and/or telephone number to contact you about my counselling service.


At anytime you have the right to ask to see what information I hold about you. You also have the right to request that I delete any information I hold about you. You can do this by contacting me directly. The instances in which I would not be able to comply with your request are as follows:

  1. It is necessary for us to retain these records in order to continue providing an effective service (in this case you would have been provided with the Privacy Policy relating to Psychotherapeutic Counselling).

  2. I am compelled to retain the information by a Court of Law

  3. I require the information in order to establish, exercise or defend legal claims

I am the Data Controller and Processor for this website and for any enquiries made about my counselling service. I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as Rosemary Clare Hogg. Should you have any concerns about my data protection practices, please raise these directly with myself. You can also notify the ICO. is the Data Processor for information relating to site visitors, however this is not usually personally identifiable and will not process any data from this site for their own benefit.
